Fight for your Honour

last nite i watched this amazin movie Men of Honor which was about a Master Diver David Carl Brashear of the US Navy who was the first african-american to become a Master Diver after being senior chief.... i jus cudnt stop thinkin about the movie , Carl's courage and his dream to become a master diver after being shunted in the ship to be a cook was jus amazin...

He was given an opp to join the US Navy's dive and salvage skool... where he was faced with a black hatin Master chief Billy Sunday, who keeps hintin to drown him... there are lots of heated words exchanged...

Billy Sunday: My name is Master Chief Billy Sunday. There was a preacher by the same name who cleaned up Chicago of all the whoring spics, drunken wops and motherfucking niggers that was making that place unfit for decent white folks to live. The only difference between me and that old preacher is that he worked for God, and I *am* God

Billy Sunday: You think you're better than me?cookie?
Carl Brashear: You're damn right I am

Billy Sunday: You know what the Chinese say, cookie? Beware what you wish for.

but finally he fights hard...trains hard and gets in to become a sea diver but he loses his leg in an accident so he gets himself resigned...but his love for the sea doesnt die down so with his will power trains hard with Billy Sunday who now respects him and goes in for a hearing to reinstate him even though he is an amputee to full active duty, but captain hanks isnt inclined to do this ... so he gives him a test to rise and take 12 steps on the new divin suit which weighs aroun 290 pounds ... he somehow manages to do it ... on his 8th step he almost falls and Billy Sunday encourages him by sayin...

Billy Sunday: Now , get up cookie, move your ass, i need my 12...
Billy Sunday: The Navy Diver is not a fighting man, he is a salvage expert. If it is lost underwater, he finds it. If it's sunk, he brings it up. If it's in the way, he moves it. If he's lucky, he will die young, 200 feet beneath the waves, for that is the closest he'll ever get to being a hero.

this jus gives him courage to get his 12...and is reinstated ...

u mite wonder y i am writin all this but this jus shws that whateva u wanna become or do , fight for it, as all your critics will start encouraging you once you start doin well.... as has happ in carl brashear's life ... dont ever give up....
