Last alliance of Trojan, virus and worm

I knw it has been a long time since i have posted something in this blog!!...i have been reminded about a million times by sriram and radha...the co-authors of this blog... so after a long time the best thing to write is why i have not wriiten any post for ages!!...so here goes

It all started on a fateful friday when my hard working McAfee software had something interesting to report, after days of searchin!!...computer had been hit by a Trojan!!...waitin for some event to happen!!... to strike and that too real so hard that my beloved comp would not be able to recover!!... it slowed my comp...it took days to jus boot!!...there comes the strong defence under the command of Lord Shivram...

computer : "What does the Lord Command??
shivram : "Boot windows 2000 -> go to task manager -> find the culprit"

computer : "My Liege, the trojan is a process named NewMon"
shivram :"Boot windows xp(the other os), delete file and restart"

so we had won the first phase of battle...then comp goes smooth for cupla days .. after that McAfee finds a new threat a virus!!... an Adware and Spyware all hittin at the same time!!... loggin onto the net!!... ads keep poppin!!... smthng unwanted is downloaded..so nthng can be done!!... again Lord shivram is called for the defence...

So what does shivram do!!... he does a Mcafee visual trace!!...calls all aid ... uses windoes xp system resources to wipe out the entire army of adwares...

well second phase won!!!....big time celebration!!...computer back to normal!!!


even with all the celebration!! ... Lord Shivram is cautious!!... calls McAfee to keep monitorin enemy lines for unusual activity!!... McAfee reports a beacon lit in the Trojan's camp!!... it triggers a signal to virus!!...which calls the aid of its cousin the worm!!... well they gather!!... the last alliance is formed!!...swords are drawn!!... shields are held!!... the sound of the great horn that signals the start of the attack reverberates accross the battle field!!!....

with all fury!!..the army marches....computer trembles with fear!!... but Valiant shivram stands firm!!... let them come he says.... and blows a horn!!...hearts are lightened!!...the heaviness lifts, instead its filled with pride and fury!!...and a great batlle is fought on the hard disk!!...the batltle is still being fought as this record of the last alliance of Trojan, virus and worm is made!!...

Long live shivram!!!...and his computer

Life Aint Fair...

I had gone to marina beach last week with my bro who had come over from Delhi...

There I noticed large flocks of crows at the waters edge which kept on flying away when the waves came in and then got back to the edge as soon as the waves receded…Highly unusual behavour u say…I thought so as well…

But after walking around the waters edge myself for sometime, I realized wat the birds were upto… there were these small fish or worms or whatever u call them…washed onto the shore in their shells…Fledglings which were supposed to start their life after coming out of their shells…

Instead, waiting their arrivals were a flock of crows waiting to suck those helpless things right from their shells into their everfilling stomachs….

DEATH…unexpected and undeserved….wat did those things(I cannot understand whether they are fish or worms …) do to merit such an unfair treatment from life…nothing…

Life is like that…isn’t it…u often get wat u don’t deserve…and this can be either to your advantage or your disadvantage…but tats wat happens…

We all feel, at one time or the another…that we don’t deserve wat is happening to us…well we don’t…but it ll happen….cos tats how life is…

You know wat they say about karma and how wat happens to u is only a result of your good deeds…and not so good ones ;-)… I don’t think so…life I think is defined by a single word…FATE…wat has to happen will happen and we cant do anything about it…just keep on living and being true to ourselves and hoping for the best…

We are all puppets in this game called life…and which puppets thread is gonna break next…who knows…

However, they do say that It all evens out in the end…lets hope so…

And ya Cheese....

After 4 years of listenin to Priya's rants about how great Mathura is we finally paid a visit to it yesterday night ,for dinner. This dinner was special for many reasons ( i dont wanna reveal them and damage ourselves.. so.. lets not get into that ). We decided not to go the Indian way atleast this once. No Naan , Kulcha , panner butter masala and that usual routine.

This once we would be DIFFERENT !!

It started off beautifully with amazing soups ( atleast mine.. i always stick to tomato.. u can never go wrong there). The otheres errr.. experimented : french onion and malose mose ( wat WAS that vaidu ?? ) . I guess this was a sign ( i always believe in signs !! ) We should have paid heed to it and stuck to the mundane.

The starters were heavenly.. Cheese cutlet , Paneer Roll , Gobi Manchurian , Baby Corn fry . Yummmm. This is where i was thinkin " o my god.. this is turning out to be the BEST treat ever.. !! " Well.. guess i spoke wayyyy too soon !!

" Mathura's Augratins are yumm. " , " U gotta taste the augratins" , " And dont forget the Augratins" : After such constant mumblings by Priya , how could we forget them. With bated breath we waited as the waiter kept two kinds of Augratin on the table ( Spl Mix and Corn ) . We asked him to serve it to the 6 of us . And after that was done we all stared at Priya with a look that said " ok so how are we supposed to eat this , where does the bread come in ?errr.. plz guide us " And that she did . Have one bite of the "oh so great augratin" and one bite of the bread , thats the procedure apparently.

Ok ,So i am not sayin that the Augratins were bad. I liked them , but how much CHEESE ( + veggies and corn and "bread" ) can a person eat. ? ;-) ( this is why we shuld have listened to priya's advice of ordering one plate alone for all of us )

Let me turn the clock back a little. While ordering the Augratins we had also decided to order a sepearte dish for each of us. Priya did warn us telling " Ppl. eat the aug's , then if u r hungry go for more." But noo.. we were so confident of our great appetites that we went on a ordering spree. American Chopsuey , Spicy Pasta , Spaghetti Supreme ,Lasagne , and Fettucine Alfrado were the orders. ( the one with weird fett name i orderd.. hehe.. ).. Priya safely went for idly sambar.

So now the waiter came with the new orders ( we tried to cancel cos we were too full.. but it was tooo late ) . And ahem , what do we find : more CHEESE !! mine and saran's : the lasagne and the fettucine.

Atleast the other dishes had some spice or salt but but.. oh the woes of my dish.. i feel like pukin just thinking about it.. it was jus lots of cheese and onion and coriiander leaves and that thing which makes up the pasta. and it tasted like nothing. it did not taste. period. it was the heights of blandness. i tried mixing lots of sauce and having but no use. The lasagne was weird. With a really weird stuffing. Othere were ok but no space in stomach after the "augratin".

Dessert rocked with the usual mix of fruit salads ice creams and juices. it was heavenly.

All in all like Saran said " It was a great dinner , we probably had the best time ever and provided unlimited entertainment to all around us , great starters , great dessert. But lets just forget about the main course"

Common reaction at the end of day : "Indian food ROCKS"

Moral of the story :

• Sometimes ( only sometimes ) we should listen to Priya's Advic
• Saran , Plz dont experiment
• Err, me also plz dont experiment
• Laughing is good for digestion
• Does cheese make one sleepy ?

ps :

It is said that tigers actually dont eat humans by birth. But once they taste our meat , even by accident, they get enamoured by the salt in the blood. From then on nothing else will do.

Guess some of us are also like that. Give us any food but put salt pepper masala in it. Please :-)
